Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide all members and associates of the Club with pathways and opportunities to fulfil their individual and collective goals in hockey, through the provision of high quality coaching and facilities, while offering opportunities for players of all levels and abilities to enjoy the sport of Hockey.

We aim to provide a warm and welcoming social environment to members and guests from all areas of the community.

The VPXHC Executive Committee operates the Club in a professional and focused manner to ensure the Club has a long and sustainable future, both on and off the field.

The mission of the Club reflects the goals of different groups of players and associates, brought together as a whole club with a family and community focus.

Strategic Objectives

Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club strives to achieve the following strategic objectives:

• A family based club culture built on club values and inclusion;
• Maintain a high profile and successful Premier 1 men’s team;
• Maintain a high profile and successful Premier 1 women’s team;
• Promotion and expansion of senior teams to reflect a range of competitive and social levels;
• Continued development of junior hockey pathways with a wide range of boys and girls teams;
• Establishment of an artificial hockey field, clubrooms, grass fields and associated infrastructure;
• Strong and sustainable club governance, coaching and finance; and
• To provide a service to the community.
