Junior Coaching
VPXHC promotes the development of coaching skills at all levels. It is preferred that all coaches seek to gain coaching accreditation. In association with Hockey WA, coaching instruction ranging from Community Coaching and Hockey Ed Level 1 coaching is readily available and recommended.
Involvement of parents and senior club players is the backbone of coaching at the younger level where participation and skill development is a clear focus. As the competition level increases the capacity for people with more dedicated coaching ability is of significant benefit to players.
